The Monocle Travel Guide: Singapore
During my short internship stint with Monocle, I helped coordinate, produce and write travel recommendations and finds for the Monocle Travel Guide: Singapore edition. From researching old Nyonya shophouses in Katong to architectural gems in the island-city, it was a great experience learning the ropes of publishing. I was also pretty stoked to have my name as a contributor in a Monocle book! (eeep!)

Little Big Talks
Little Big Talks is a media blog, started as a university project to start thinking critically and to build an opinion on media topics. Ranging from dissecting selfies, exploring feminism in media to re-imagining the relationship between media and the city, I’ve written a blogpost a week for 3 years and here are some of my favourites:
Reimagining Cities: Kuala Lumpur

Finding the Self in a Selfie

Audio Scripts
The Menu, Monocle24 Radio
For an episode of The Menu - Monocle 24’s guide to food and drink, I coordinated the interview, transcribed and wrote the audio script on the emergence of robot servers in a famous seafood restaurant on the east coast of Singapore. I also drafted a short piece to complement the radio piece for Monocle’s daily newsletter, The Monocle Minute.
